I love this site and all, especially being albe to submit scripts. i use that part alot on this site.

i also create layouts, and make images, but i dont submit them here. ive had way to much layouts and images rejected. i understand why some of them were put down, like for really bad quality, but this site is just way too picky on my layouts and images.

like for example, i created an high quality good looking image of a Zune (i decided to make one because i seen way too many ipod images on here, and no zune images at all). the image consisted of 2 zunes near by each other sending an song. and i wrote on the image "Welcome To The Social" in orange (since the zunes main logo colors are orange, purplish, and brown). they reject the image for having orange text, which is just rediculous. thats just like making an ipod icon that cant contain an lowercase i and a capital P, and the ipod is mainly spelled "iPod".

and for my layout troubles. i recently created an high quality Metallica div overlay. it was perfect. they claimed there was not enough stuff, even tho there was enough stuff, and if i did add more they would just complain about it having too much stuff, or the extra added stuff had low quality. later on that day i was searching through the layouts on this site, and i came across a jonas brothers layout, it looked like shit, was way unorganized, and last but not least jonas brothers are chewed up overrated recycled hansen music.

so my conclusion on this sites layouts is, they are prejudice. and they lie. they are willing to accept a piece of shit layout that sponsors a shitty band, because they like the music. but if they dont like music (aka.. any REAL music), and they are to review any high quality layouts of a good REAL band, they will reject it because of only they dont like the band, and they will cover it up with some lame excuse like "not enough items".

now for the my experiences with submitting scripts. i havnt had much bad experiences with submitting scripts. they have pretty much only rejected one script from what i can remember, and that was one that was forever ago around the time myspace released the profile editor (which sucks lol) and added classes to the tables. the script consisted of a code that hid the comments section. the code was: <style>.friendsComments {display:none;}</style>

it was rejected because there was a script already like that, although it didnt work as easy as mine did. it was one similar to the following
<div style="width:400px; height:400px; overflow:hidden;"><table><tr><td>
and the script required you to edit the Height variable, which really was tedious especially when someone changed their display pic to something that was bigger, because then it meant you had to go back and change the code to make it fit the new image change. or when someone would change their display name to one of those long gay names (you know, ones like "remember me for who i am, not for how i look" or something that could easily be used for their headline), you would have to go back and change it to fit the name as well.

that was actually the reason i submitted the script i created, because i wanted to help out people be able to hide their comments without any problems.

now i will end this blog by summerizing my plans.. i will continue to use this site to submit my scripts.. but as for layouts and images, i will be submitting them to Skem9 (as they dont give much hassle. you normally dont need to wait for someone to review the layout and approve it. and if the layout doesnt fit the rules, it will just get deleted, but that rarely even happens.)
